ترجمة أبيات وإذا تركتَ أخاك تأكله الذئاب

وإذا تركتَ أخاك تأكلُه الذِّئابُ فاعلم بأنَّك يا أخاهُ ستُستَطابُ	If you should leave your brother to the wolves’ sharp bite, Then know, O brother, your end, too, is near in sight.
ويجيء دورُك بعده في لحظة إن لم يجئْكَ الذِّئبُ، تنهشكَ الكلابُ	And soon your turn shall come upon the path you tread— If not the wolves, then by the dogs you’ll soon be shred.
إنْ تأكلِ النِّيرانُ غرفةَ منزلٍ فالغرفةُ الأخرى سيدركُها الخرابُ	If fire should catch in one small room of your own hall, The other rooms will likewise burn and surely fall.
