Bribery of pilgrim

My heart today is sad. Having refused to pay an imposed bribe, I am denied the ritual trip of My Hajj.
The Party Head has enriched himself from the bribes of pilgrims! What kind of faith a man ‘on the take’ may have!
The Messenger of God had affirmed: to pay or take a bribe is surely to receive the punishment of God.
My country has lived long under oppression, the perpetuity of which is owed to tyrannical blocs that for quite a while have been well famed for cruelty.
Should you say “he exaggerates”, come down and see my home-land where the people are incarcerated
If I compose my poems, my stance is always against oppressors, yet a terrorist they would enlist me
Yet when I scorn a ‘statue’ or desecrate an idol of theirs, they soon declare: “The old Man is insane”.
Such still is the nature of the Tyrant, ever driven by the burning fire of hatred to murder non-partisans.
The occupying invader cunningly walks in our funeral, while in his hand he holds his knives
So one kills the uncle while another assassinates his father, as if all have become Pharaohs
Who would eulogize our state of affairs; we have become the mockery of all and our high glory has descended to the ground.
For generations we have cultivated Power; and power, since eternity, has ever dovetailed with the Arab sword.
A vestment of good manners is the robe of the Arab, adorned by ready help when help is of an Arab asked.
Love was our water as children, and of a plentiful generosity I fed at the breasts of my nursing mother
Like earthquakes, we shake the grounds *If our women were violated* nor will our eye-lids give in to somnolence.
Tents, whenever erected, always offer instantly and readily abundant milk of she-camels and of sheep,
Nor have we suckled on it in dribbles, but a free-flowing milk in which good will is the essence.
A man of generosity, whose puplic invitations to food excludes
no one, Appears with ready hands serving bowls richly filled
His elbows betray the meat porridge he serves to guests and his tongue has only inviting friendly welcoming phrases.
you will be well greeted all over Arab countries where hospitality is first handed out through cups of the Arabian coffee
Such hospitality is still, as it had been, a school of compassionate empathy and is, by our faith, demanded of us all.
Those who enjoy the purest kindness are those who, among all, sleep free of any concerns or deeply chest-buried secrets.
Be happy uncle!Your reward will be the heavenly paradise where the promised beautiful, loyal, and wide-eyed females awaitthe true believers.
If they come forward, they are the pearls in their shell; they are the preserved and life recreating eggs
