تسرى ربوعك فى دمى
لا لن نظل بصمتنا
تحت السحاب المظلم
ها قد أتينا ياعراقْ
فلتعضدونا يا رفاقْ
سنبيد من بثوا الشقاق
و نلتقي بعد الفراق
وحق أوصال البراءة
و المزارع والدماء
سنذيق عين المعتدى
من كل أصناف الفناء
لا لن تموت عروبتك
والحق لن يبقى هباء
بغداد لاتتألمى
تسرى ربوعك فى دمى
Oh Baghdad
Don't feel the pain
You are running with my blood
We will never keep silent
Under those dark clouds
We have come to you Iraq
So please support us, you , comrades
We will destroy those who caused the disturbance
And we will meet after all that solitary confinement
I swear by the innocence of children
I swear by farms and blood
We will tear down the oppressor
and make them see all colours of elimination
Your Arabism will never fade away
And the right will never be lost
